ATCC (American Type Culture Collection)
ATCC's products range from the diverse materials in Collections/Repository (such as microorganisms, cell lines, and recombinant DNA materials) to the media and other reagents in Culture-Related Products.
DSMZ (German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures)
DSMZ - Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the acquisition, characterization and identification, preservation and distribution of Bacteria, Archaea, fungi, plasmids, phages, human and animal cell lines, plant cell cultures and plant viruses.
JCM (Japan Collection of Microorganisms)
Japan Collection of Microorganisms (JCM) was founded in 1980 at RIKEN (The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research), as a culture collection of microorganisms. JCM supplies authentic microorganisms to researchers in the fields of life sciences and biotechnology. Available microorganisms from JCM are: about 3,800 strains of bacteria including Actinomycetes, about 150 strains of Archaea and about 2,400 strains of fungi including yeasts.
